Welcome to Parker Agency

Our agency began in the 1930s when Joel Parker Sr. started selling home and automobile insurance from his house on South Street in Manasquan.

His son, Joel Parker Jr. was a POW during WWII, shot down over the North Sea, and upon his return home, he joined in business with his father. As the community grew, so too did the agency while remaining true to their mission of protecting the community with superior products and expert advice. The community was their home, and they had the desire and duty to support it.

A Legacy Passed Through Generations

In 1973, Joel’s son-in-law, Harvey W Malick Jr. joined the agency after working for several years in the insurance industry. Upon Joel’s passing, Harvey became the owner and in 2010, his son Zuri joined Parker Agency.

Our insurer partners are top quality, providing programs for a wide range of risks and sectors, including Business Insurance and Personal Insurance. Some of the companies we work with, we have represented for over 50 years.

With over 15 years of experience and the prestigious Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, Zuri brings deep industry knowledge and trusted advisory capabilities to every client relationship.

Specializing in commercial lines, Zuri works with a wide range of industries—including construction, retail, professional services, and logistics—offering tailored solutions such as general liability, commercial auto, property coverage, workers’ compensation, and professional liability. He takes a consultative approach to insurance, helping business owners not only meet regulatory and contractual requirements but also minimize long-term risk.
